Here is a real day of adventure in the mountains! A magnificent journey between the ancient castles of Pacentro and Roccacasale taking in the summit of Monte Morrone. Maybe the toughest stage of the Ring; a strenuous ascent and descent of the forested slopes, combined with a delightful trek above the tree line, along the beautiful skyline that overlooks Sulmona, 1,600m below.
